Creighton Cedar

Creighton Cedar
Silverpoint 12 x 9" image

The Eastern red cedars, Juniperus virginiana, are amazing, long-lived trees. They thrive with oyster shells in the soil as they love calcium, so they are often found in places where the Southeastern coastal Indians lived. This particular cedar, growing on Creighton Island, is the epitome of endurance and tenacious majesty.
