Havre de Grace

This drawing was done at a time when my beloved husband had been put (temporarily, thank goodness) in Hospice. I chose symbols of different flowers to invoke a state of grace we both needed. The drawing's symbols are: bamboo for longevity, almond blossom for hope, orange blossom for fidelity in marriage, calla lilies for beauty, stephanotis for happiness in marriage and azaleas as the Chinese symbol for womanhood.
