A beautiful spring day spent with my dear artist friend, Marjett Schille, on Butler Island, near Darien, GA, allowed me to get back to drawing again. I had been recuperating from a major operation for about five weeks and was not sure I could yet cope with a day's plein air work. But yes! It was magic and restorative by the ponds that the ospreys were patrolling.
